Little KXwas abandoned in a northern province in 2021. She had been born prematurely and weighed only 2 lbs 10 oz (1200g) when she was found in a village by an elderly gentleman who lived nearby.
She has changed so much since we met her 5 years ago. KX has grown into a mischievous five-year-old who loves to play outdoors and is always on the move.
She’s very interested in nature, exploring plants and flowers and how they change through the seasons.
KX has a captivating giggle and has endeared herself to all of the caregivers at her home.
Recently, she saw the bigger kids learning how to do a traditional massage. She went home and decided to try it out on her mama… let’s just say, her mama was very grateful for that!
And we have a very exciting update about KX to share with you... she was adopted by a local family this month. She joins an older brother and a mom and dad who love her dearly. Our greatest wish for each of the children in our care is to know the love of a forever family, and we are so incredibly happy that this has become a reality for Xin. Although we miss her every day, we are so excited to see what the future holds for her.
